Collection of Vintage Cars.

See the barn-find collection of vintage cars worth £12m, A treasure trove of 60 rare cars has recently been discovered in France. Here's how they looked after almost 40 years in obscurity.

Can documentary style filming get more annoying and distracting?

I thought those depths had already been plumbed on British TV.

Tell me, o film maker, what did those fast forwards really bring to the table here? I was interested in the subject, but just gave up.

Love Country Music!

What I’m doing with my life Formally taught in the intricate science of how to make computers work but realized that just using them is much better. So now makes a living just creating or appreciating words and art that comes out of them.

Working on getting as many entry stamps on my passport as possible on the side.

The first things people usually notice about me Eyes. Smile. Or that i'm nice when really, what i was aiming for was cool or badass.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food Books: I am an equal opportunity reader!

Movies: Romantic comedies and holiday movies, obviously. Any other genre is okay really, just no horror movies!

Shows: Currently loving Suits, Grey's Anatomy, Game of Thrones, Sleepy Hollow and some comedies like 2 Broke Girls, The Neighbors and Undateable. Previously loved The X-Files, One Tree Hill, Prison Break and Fringe.

Music: Love country music! And the oldies but the goodies, give me the 80s or the 90s any day and I'm happy.

Food: I can eat anything really, as long as they do not look or smell gross. The six things I could never do without What kind of crazy is this?! I was born and raised in a third world country. As long as I am alive and healthy and there is world peace, I can make do with very little.

I spend a lot of time thinking about ...what else do I have to do today? And counting the days till the photo opportunity in the next amazingly beautiful place I will find myself in.

On a typical Friday night I am Mostly at home, relaxing with a good book, movie or tv show. Otherwise, with friends enjoying good food or having lots of laughs over coffee.

You should message me if No ifs, send that message now! For all we know the world could end tomorrow. :)

I am into anything about the Arts!

I would like to make new friends.

I will reject any offers for sex as i want to keep my virginity for my husband.
But I am fine with reading any sad life/fustration/happiness/boredom.
Because I like to judge people from their daily lifes.
My friends call me the wise one, if u need advice.

Monday 8 December 2014

My eyes and smile.

I like clear endings and beginnings, with no grey areas in between. I want my certainties to remain just so - absolutely rock steady and assured. I want to understand everything and know how to craft just the right question to obtain the answers that I'm looking for.

I am fearless and stubborn and even when life gets a little tricky, I merely take it on the chin and keep going. Self-confident, resourceful, and strong, I am driven to succeed; I work hard and willing to sacrifice anything to get to my goals. I am also complex and secretive, choosing who I divulge my secrets to carefully.

IN LOVE
I love with a fierce devotion and I am deeply passionate. Once I am sure of my partner, my love will be forever, my life will revolve around that person, and I will be forever loyal. I will love my partner passionately and will do anything for him. I will promote his career, and I will never hear a bad word spoken about him. I will defend him to the hilt and praise him, building his self-esteem. I am attractive, and so I might have people buzzing round me like flies. Although I will enjoy the attention, I see flirting as an insult, and my loyal devotion means I will stay faithful to my chosen partner.

FOR FUN
I've been living my life in front of a computer for some time now. If I'm not at work, I watch movies, stream for TV shows, go to malls, and do other boring stuffs..

I've always wanted to explore my surroundings and try to do exciting things.. Only, I couldn't get a chance to do so. I don't wanna limit myself from having fun just because I'm afraid of a lot of things.

Heights (Ridge Zipline, Cable Car and Bungee Jumping), Sharks (Dive in a cage surrounded by sharks) Guns (Firing)

I'm looking for someone who will be willing to do all this things with me.
What I’m doing with my life
Living my life for myself, not for others!
I’m really good at
Singing
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, and smile..
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The Avengers
Ironman 1, 2 & 3
Expendables

SHOWS

Castle
The Walking Dead

Game of Thrones
Breaking Bad

Spartacus
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What my future will be like..
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Too private! lol
You should message me if
I want to meet someone that is not afraid to show his emotions. Someone who knows how to treat a woman right. I love texting, and if you send me a message, and I like you, I would expect us to keep our communication through Whatsapp or BBM.

I've been treated bad before. Emotional torture, verbal abuse, lies, cheating.. Now, I decided that I DON'T WANT to deal with anymore FILIPINOS, even any other ASIAN GUYS. After all I've been through, I believe that I have the right to choose who I wanna be with, so please respect that. Thank you.

Harmony And Joy

I love exercises. Some to mentioned are: bending over to look at plants, walking from the room to kitchen, stretching out hands at the grocery aisle for food, flexing arms to open fridge door etc etc

Define the right one...? Well at a certain age, the ability to get along compromise with a certain chemistry and spark in the right degree and both realises that time spent tog in peace harmony and joy are the only things we own n have control over will generally excel at working life out together and needless to say a blissful loving relationship.

I’m really good at
Selecting my favourite piece of jewellery. Wink* and shopping of course

The six things I could never do without
Crossing my ankles
The touch skin to skin
Growing the sanctity of love with a safe partner
Blooming with joys loving with ease
Sinking into time, nice fabrics, water or grass or the air ...holding hands with him or her I think I felt eternity in an instant and I miss him and her

I spend a lot of time thinking aboutShopping
The waiting moments before shopping while waiting to go shopping
Lives of passerbys
The face of the artist when making art or music
The canvas under the sea
My dream coming true
Realising I'm only a morning dew in God's eyes
Night flight with angels
The spiritual world and religions
The kindness in the evil and the evilness in the kind
Inner circle of luxury lifestyle and a life I love living
I love the taste and texture of natural Greek yoghurt in my mouth.
On a typical Friday night I am
Thinking should I reconcile with a lost friend or let it bury in quicksand

Mushrooms

I'm a Libran, I love long walks on the beach, sunsets and candle-lit conversations about French films. I'm a conundrum wrapped in an enigma, surrounded by mystery, an irregular mata hari. Okay, okay... for reals now.

Wannabe free spirit blessed (or cursed) with a healthy dose of pragmatism and an unhealthy dose of cynicism. Family is everything to me. I'm a homebody, but when I can drag myself out of the house, I love to have a good time.

These are a few of my favourite things:
Reading and watching black comedies.
Baking and cooking and trying out new eateries.
Travelling (like everyone else here).
Crafty DIY stuff that never really turn out like how they're supposed to.
Animals, especially dogs. I've wanted a border collie of my very own for the longest time.
Oh yeah, I also... um... like listening to music. Groundbreaking.

I've always been a bit leery of this online dating but oh well... So, ride forth on your white horse and save me from becoming a crazy cat lady.

Just kidding, I can save myself, but a ride would be nice.

TL;DR: Feminist, humanist, cunning linguist and unabashed odd duck.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm pretty sure I'm the second coming of Mother Teresa and Princess Diana combined. [Read] I'm still searching for my purpose in life. In the meantime I work in Publishing and actually enjoy my job. I'm also seriously contemplating pursuing a Masters in yet another useless discipline.

I've been bitten by the travel bug (just like everyone else). I'm hopeless with directions but I'm funny (at least, that's what my mom tells me) and fearless. I'm attempting to scale the Everest Base Camp next June, preferably without dying en route, so I'm workin' on my fitness and trying to survive Bikram Yoga sessions. I also like, really want to visit Egypt, Morocco, Paris and Turkey soon.

I'm thinking of picking up a musical instrument. Would the ukelele be too twee?
I’m really good at
Majoring in minors, making mountains out of molehills, finding silver linings, parroting cliches, listening to other people's problems, procrastinating, baking the best butter cakes, making schedules (and never sticking to them), making the perfect roast chicken dinner, not making up my mind, keeping a level head, fiddling with stuff and fixing stuff. Nailed it.

The first things people usually notice about me
I'd like to say my smile, but who am I kidding? Boobs.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
SPOILER ALERT: Unapologetic pop culture geek, so strap in.

Books: One Big Damn Puzzler, The God of Small Things, Good Omens, 1984, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Lolita, the Harry Potter Series, The Poisonwood Bible, Kafka on the Shore, Brave New World, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Life of Pi, Slaughterhouse Five, most stuff by Sue Townsend, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman and loads more.

Poetry: Stuff by Frost, Poe, Wilde, T S Eliot (The Wasteland was my jam in my teens, yo) and the Rubaiyat.

Movies: Veers from cult favourites to quirky (ugh!) Indie films to brainless Romcoms. What? I don't discriminate, cos ya know, to discriminate only generates hate... I enjoy Black Comedies, Horror and Zombie Horror Comedies. Some all-time favourites include Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands,The Heathers, The Craft and the Witches of Eastwick. Are you seeing a pattern here?

I also love Hot Fuzz, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Amelie, The Royal Tenenbaums, KungFu Hustle, the LOTR trilogy, Chungking Express, Kill Bill, Barfi!, Zoolander *shamefaced*, V for Vendetta, Big Fish, Donnie Darko, The Big Lebowski, Tim Burton's older work, most stuff by Simon Pegg, Quentin Tarantino, Mani Ratnam, Wong Kar Wai, Wes Anderson and James Wan.

Shows: Huge Joss Whedon fan. Buffy, Firefly, Pushing Daisies, Daria, Breaking Bad, American Horror Story, Archer, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Weeds, Heroes, Game of Thrones, The Mindy Project. Veronica Mars, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Community, Hannibal (criminally under-watched), Scrubs, Wonderfalls, The Daily Show, Misfits, Psych (criminally underrated), Sherlock, Shameless and Dexter. Kat Dennings is my current girl crush and Daria is my spirit animal.

Music: Depends on my mood really... Train, Dave Matthews Band, Niyaaz, Oasis, stuff from A R Rahman, Queen, The Beatles, Jason Mraz, some Country, LMFAO, Bruno Mars, the kind of Indie bands that make it to the Top 40 lists, the Goo Goo Dolls, Adele, Coldplay, Mumford and Sons, Macklemore and right now, I'm obsessed with Joe Purdy.

Food: A steaming plate of really good pasta and anything with too much spice, mushrooms and cheeeeese.

Wait... now what are we going to talk about on our first date?

The six things I could never do without
My parents, food, clothing, shelter, the Internet, a good book and a good bra. That's six, right?

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to save the world, engineer world peace, end poverty and gender inequality, and the past and chocolate.
Oh, and also why so many OkC names have the word "taco" in them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Where I am everyday, at the gym. Jk.
At home and online. Sigh... Although, not so much recently ;)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Moment

I have my head firmly on my shoulders, feet rooted to the ground, eyes on the stars (and consciousness sometimes in the 5th dimension).

Living in the bustling city keeps things interesting and makes me feel alive. Long walks amongst nature, scenic drives, the smell of the salty ocean, and travel, travel, travel are my respite.

I'm not outdoorsy but I have a sense of adventure and I enjoy different experiences. People are often surprised that I have sky-dived (loved it), bungee jumped (hated it), snow-skiied (I'm terrible), scuba dived (I'm in awe) and I enjoy riding (horses). I still want to learn to sail because I feel free and calm around water, and i love boats.

I treasure my quiet moments doing the most mundane of things ... relaxing at home with music, a book, a drink ... an evening swim, a walk in my neighbourhood with my shiba-inu.

I can discuss and debate the commercial world, yet, I am as comfortable talking about metaphysics, spirituality, and all other seemingly 'hippy' stuff, without going off the edge. (Yes I meditate but I'm also attached to my phone. No I'm not vegan and I'm not yoga obsessed)

As much as I love talking, I am an excellent listener. I am genuinely interested in people. I value EQ, independence, goals, authenticity and street-smarts, a gentle heart and a passionate soul.

What I’m doing with my life
Embracing every moment as positively as I can, relaxing into every breath, looking forward to what's next.
I’m really good atlistening procrastinating bringing a different perspective
seeing beauty in the little things dishing out wisdom I seldom remember to use myself.

... anything I put my heart and my mind to.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate being vulnerable. But I have learnt that it is not the same as being fragile. Fragility is weakness. Vulnerability is beauty and strength.

You should message me if
Your mind, heart and soul, are well-travelled, adventurous, balanced and hungry for more.

Tell me what moves you and what inspires you the most in life.

Life

Life is short.
Might as well make the most out of it! That is what I am striving for on an everyday basis.
It has led me to visiting remote locations, meeting colorful people, and trying out things I would not have imagined.

What I’m doing with my life
Traveling the world. Seeking to be kind, compassionate, smart, humble, strong, friendly, polite, honest, fit, easy going,

responsible, and free at the same time.

I’m really good at
Making faces! Honestly I don't really know. Perhaps I don't fit into stereotypes well. Some say I'm good at skiing or

math. Friends say I'm good at Guitar Hero. Strangers say I'm easy to talk to. Whether any of that is true is up to you to

decide. In the meantime I will be making faces. ;-) Because at the end of the day only happiness counts.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Anything featuring mindless explosions, fantastical worlds, or futuristic universes. Well that was pretty straight

forward. Lets add some Studio Ghibli and Unusual Suspects to the mix. Might end up with an Eternal Sunshine of the

Spotless Mind in The Grand Budapest Hotel. I don't even know why I like that movie but it's great.

You should message me if
You made it this far. Just go ahead a send me a message already. Can't go wrong.

Hilarious

Into electronic dance music. Enjoys chilling out at home watching DVD's. I believe I live in a country full of potential (Malaysia), but that it needs to change hands, such that the country undergoes a paradigm shift. That is what will see Malaysia move from being a developing nation to a leading 1st world nation.

As a kid I grew up in Malaysia on a steady diet of 80's and 70's cartoons and TV series, like Kimba, Astro boy, Captain Future, Transformers, Voltron, Silverhawks, GI Joe, MASK, Bravestarr, the Superfriends, Batman, Popeye, Bugs Bunny, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the A-Team, Battlestarr Galactica, Macguyver, Remington Steele, the Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Time Tunnel, The Land of the Giants, Mission Impossible and many many more. I always related to 'Wreck-gar' from the Transformers movie, as the Autobot whose speech was based on television transmissions. The other one was 'Ultra Magnus', the reluctant leader.

Did high school and university study at Perth, Australia. Learnt how to drink alcohol there. Graduated with a double degree in civil engineering and Commerce and couldn't get a job there so came back to Malaysia.
Got a job with an engineering consultant, made some new friends, met a girl, married her (my first true love), had a baby son with her (August 2007). My father is Chinese (Hakka) and my mother is mixed Portuguese (Dad) and Nyonya Baba (Mum). That's why I put Asian/Latin in my profile, but for all intents and purposes, in Malaysia I'm considered Chinese. Anyway, I look Chinese more than anything else...

I am courageous, honest, and empathic
What I’m doing with my life
Helping people realise their investment goals by using Public Mutual and unit trust as a platform.

I’m really good at
geeky trivia for quiz nights and treasure hunts.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I wear glasses. That I should have gotten braces.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A) Dragonlance novels, and Alan Moore graphic novels.
B) Aliens, Alien, Alien Resurrection, Alien 3 (In that order), Sepet, Mukhsin, Gubra, Gol & Gincu.
C) Michael Franti, The Prodigy, C&C Music Factory, D'Angelo, Moloko.
D) Oh Chean (Fried Oyster), lasagna, calzone, pork/bacon burgers.

The six things I could never do without
1) My wife
2) The alarm on my mobile phone
3) Reminders
4) Music
5) TV
6) The Internet

I spend a lot of time thinking about
...Am I doing things correctly, or can I improve the way I do things.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home, playing with my kids.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cry during movies, and also during certain episodes of Star Trek. Also, I think the Malaysian Government is a joke sometimes.
They can send you to jail for saying stuff like that here in Malaysia (about the goverment thing, not crying during Star Trek).
You should message me if
...you actually found the above drivel interesting.
